I pride myself on teaching a realistic, honest and evidence-based course, from the unique perspective of being a trained doula. I am part of the local Maternity Voices Partnership, which works closely with the local hospitals, and I regularly update my knowledge of working practices to ensure you are well informed about what to expect from your maternity unit.
I don’t just focus on Hypnobirthing. I know that knowing your rights in pregnancy and birth are paramount in achieving a positive birth, where you feel like you were in control. I teach hypnobirthing skills alongside evidence-based information about interventions, instrumental birth, induction and c-sections so that you can go into the birth room with confidence. Our local c-section rate is over 30% so it is more vital than ever to have the tools to navigate this system.
I had two very different births - one lengthy induction in hospital and one beautiful home birth - so I understand better than many the different faces of birth.

‘Surf Your Birth’ full antenatal course
Are you worried about birth and life with a newborn? My courses will help to dispel any myths and concerns you may have. My course contains only evidence-based, impartial, no judgement information to help you to birth YOUR WAY.
Our antenatal classes will cover:

Breastfeeding 101
I run 2 hour group sessions online to give couples all of the information they need to feel confident with breastfeeding. This session includes:
- How breastfeeding works
- Colostrum harvesting
- The first feed
- Basic positioning and attachment
- How to know your baby is getting enough
- Safe sleep guidance
- Tips for partners
- Hand expression
- Where to go for help if you need it
This course will help you to feel confident as you start your breastfeeding journey! You will get all of the above, plus a pdf booklet to keep and refer back to.
This course is suitable for any parents expecting a baby at any stage of their pregnancy but who aren’t looking for full antenatal classes.
